Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henry Wallace (ranked 2799 p4p, 3455 weight class) and Claude Dacre (ranked 304 p4p, 345 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.

No joy there for Wallace, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dacre takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dacre looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dacre swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Wallace gets tackled into the cage by Dacre. Dacre maintains the clinch.

Dacre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wallace swivels and escapes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dacre creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wallace tries to work over Dacre's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Dacre bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.

My spies in Doc Dannis Death Squad inform me that Dacre has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Dacre postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dacre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dacre passes Wallace's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Wallace won't allow Dacre to pass to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace is in a horrible position here. Dacre smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Poor strikes thrown by Dacre there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Dacre has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dacre there as he acknowledges the shot.

Dacre is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wallace rather than just go for the knockout.

and Wallace counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Dacre cracks Wallace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Claude Dacre seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Dacre avoids the elbow strike from Wallace, against the cage.
Dacre is leaning against Wallace and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Wallace misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dacre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wallace walks away with a smile on his face. Dacre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch but Dacre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Dacre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wallace punishes Dacre's body with a nice straight punch.

Dacre shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallace as he avoids it easily.
Henry Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Claude Dacre.
Dacre tries to clinch up.

Oooooh!!! Wallace has knocked Dacre down with a huge combo! Wallace steps away and waves a wobbly Dacre back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Claude Dacre has been cut.

Wallace cracks Dacre with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
