Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ulatov (ranked 3436 p4p, 6333 weight class) and Haji Gvarzatilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ulatov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Haji Gvarzatilov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.

Ulatov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gvarzatilov with the counter takedown but Ulatov avoids it easily.
Ulatov shoots in for a takedown but Gvarzatilov shows good takedown defense.
Ulatov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gvarzatilov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ulatov somewhat.
Gvarzatilov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Ulatov shoots in looking for a takedown. Gvarzatilov tries to sprawl out of it but Ulatov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gvarzatilov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gvarzatilov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ulatov defends it well.

Gvarzatilov is trying to control the action in half guard but Ulatov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gvarzatilov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ulatov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gvarzatilov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ulatov is just riding it out for now. Gvarzatilov eventually gives up the hold.

Gvarzatilov is looking to stall in half guard but Ulatov is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Gvarzatilov taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sergei Ulatov!
