Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Name (ranked 4369 p4p, 4359 weight class) and Burt Mobley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Burt Mobley enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Mobley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Name shoots in but no luck this time.
Mobley throws out a counter right but Name avoids it with no problem.
Mobley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Name moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mobley ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Name avoids a punch combination nicely.
Name feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Mobley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Name manages to avoid it.
As Mobley looks to move away, Name throws a big counter combo but Mobley just gets out of the way.
Mobley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mobley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Nick Name has been cut.
Name shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mobley defends it nicely.

Mobley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Name sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Some wild striking there from Mobley.
Mobley throws a series of punches but Name moves out of range.
Name fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mobley just manages to avoid it.
Mobley throws a right and a left that Name avoids nicely.
Mobley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mobley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Burt Mobley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mobley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mobley throws a nice looking combination but Name bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Name feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mobley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Name. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Name controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Name trying to control the position from guard on top but Mobley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Name seems to be working for a kimura but Mobley defends the submission attempt.
Mobley has hold of Name's hands but Name slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Mobley is defending against the submission attempts here by Name.

Name is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mobley sees it coming and defends easily.

Name seems to be looking for submissions.
Name wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mobley keeps working.

Name is working for a kimura but Mobley is defending it quite comfortably.

Mobley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Name throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Name is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Name is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mobley sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Burt Mobley dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nick Name's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mobley punishes Name's body with a nice straight punch.
Burt Mobley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mobley throws a nice looking combination but Name bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mobley falls off balance throwing a combination

and Name counters with a takedown into side control.

Name tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Name has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Name is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mobley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nick Name overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mobley is trying to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mobley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Name working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Name is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mobley looks calm but he's in trouble here. Name gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mobley is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Name lets go of the hold and Mobley can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Name!
A very excited looking Nick Name made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
