PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Sherkov (ranked 4747 p4p, 6383 weight class) and Drowsy Ramone (ranked 514 p4p, 594 weight class). Ramone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Ramone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sherkov.
That kick from Ramone tenderised Sherkov's leg. Sherkov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sherkov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ramone.

Sherkov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ramone sprawls well initially but Sherkov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ramone tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sherkov manages to move to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramone has left one of his arms exposed and Sherkov doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ramone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
