0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hexa Hexagon! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hexagon rushes Kuklinski and presses him up against the cage. Kuklinski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kuklinski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown but Hexagon shows good takedown defense. Kuklinski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Hexagon scores a takedown into full mount! Kuklinski sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hexagon trying to control the action but Kuklinski is working from the bottom. Kuklinski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kuklinski is looking for a sweep. Hexagon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hexagon wants to get back to his feet.
Kuklinski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hexagon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Kuklinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuklinski looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hexagon passes into side control.
Kuklinski is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Kuklinski's face as Hexagon controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hexagon trying to control the action but Kuklinski is working from the bottom. Kuklinski parries the strikes from Hexagon easily there. Hexagon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kuklinski to escape.
Sloppy strikes there by Hexagon. Hexagon stands up. Kuklinski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hexagon struggling a bit here. Hexagon manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hexagon regains full guard. Nicely done. This has been an exciting period of action! Kuklinski being controlled here momentarily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hexagon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kuklinski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hexagon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hexagon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hexagon! Kuklinski is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hexagon is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Let's hope that Hexagon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kuklinski tries to reverse the position but Hexagon maintains control. Kuklinski is trying to reverse the position but instead Hexagon has taken his back - oops! Hexagon biding his time, looking for the opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hexagon throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Hexagon wants to control but Kuklinski is keeping busy. Kuklinski is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hexagon.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hexagon working for a choke but Kuklinski is defending well. Kuklinski wants to escape the position.

Hexa Hexagon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hexagon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kuklinski! Kuklinski is looking to get to half guard. Hexagon throwing strikes here but Kuklinski is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hexagon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hexagon trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hexagon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Hexa Hexagon just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kuklinski fails with the takedown and Hexagon counters by moving into the clinch. Hexagon is pressed up against the cage. Kuklinski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hexagon down to the mat. Hexagon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hexagon throws a head kick but Kuklinski moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hexagon clinches up with Kuklinski and pushes him back against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kuklinski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hexagon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hexa Hexagon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Not really close to a finish though. Kuklinski is looking to regain half guard here but Hexagon keeps moving and retains side control. Hexagon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hexagon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kuklinski shoots and misses and Hexagon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kuklinski won't be happy with that. Kuklinski tries to improve position but can't.

Kuklinski is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hexagon pulls his head out easily. Kuklinski looking for submissions off his back. Kuklinski actively working from the bottom here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hexagon avoids the head kick by Kuklinski.
