Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lance Stewart (ranked 3097 p4p, 5249 weight class) and Adam Bogo (ranked 322 p4p, 443 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Stewart will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stewart.
A punch combination from Bogo misses.

Bogo feints and as Stewart raises his hands in defense, Bogo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bogo slips nicely into half guard.

Bogo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stewart is just riding it out for now. Bogo eventually gives up the hold.

Bogo wants to work for an arm triangle but Stewart is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stewart pushes Bogo off looking to stand but Bogo dives back in and keeps control.

Bogo is looking for a kimura but Stewart is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bogo to get the leverage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stewart is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bogo scores with a couple of nice shots.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bogo connects with a nice short shot to Stewart's temple.

Bogo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Stewart tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bogo!
