Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Conan Hayes (ranked 4504 p4p, 5023 weight class) and Wiz Kraven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiz Kraven is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Hayes darts in trying to clinch

and Kraven counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hayes won't be happy with that.

Kraven is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hayes has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kraven is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hayes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kraven misses with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kraven tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kraven has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kraven goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hayes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kraven but great work by Hayes.
Hayes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hayes throws an elbow but Kraven slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hayes is sitting in close to Kraven's body. Kraven has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hayes is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hayes is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kraven.
