PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lion Tiger (ranked 2480 p4p, 3113 weight class) and JC Turner (ranked 286 p4p, 360 weight class). Tiger comes into the arena with Alok - Hear Me Tonight blaring out of the sound system. JC Turner will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
JC Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Tiger counters with a crisp one two that drops Turner! Tiger thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Turner to his feet! Turner is in big trouble!
A combination from Tiger does no damage.
Turner throws a combination that misses
and Tiger counters with a left to the body.

Tiger lands a big uppercut and Turner crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Turner looks OK. Tiger waves Turner back to his feet!

Turner is rocked!
Turner looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big right from Tiger misses.
Turner is still on wobbly legs! Can Tiger finish him?
Turner throws a series of punches but Tiger moves out of range.
Tiger went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Turner seems to have recovered his senses.
Tiger misses with a kick to the body.
Tiger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Turner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tiger.
Tiger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Turner.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tiger closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Turner out cold! Turner corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

After winning the bout, Lion Tiger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
