Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Ispa (ranked 122 p4p, 91 weight class) and Jeremy Jones (ranked 20 p4p, 16 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jeremy Jones enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Jones!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ispa throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ispa.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Ispa.
Jones checks a low kick from Ispa.
Jones takes a kick to the side of the head.

Ispa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jones!

Ispa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ispa's guard! Nice work there by Jones!

Ispa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ispa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.

Ispa pulls Jones in close to his closed guard and prevents Jones from doing any damage or advancing position.

Ispa is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ispa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ispa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones is fighting to break Ispa's control of his arms but Ispa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jones tries to stand but Ispa is controlling from the bottom.

Ispa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Ispa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ispa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ispa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ispa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Ispa's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Jones makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ispa really felt that one!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jones tries to sprawl but Ispa drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jones is controlling Ispa's trapped leg to prevent Ispa from advancing to side control.

Ispa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tank Ispa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a head kick. That will keep Ispa thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ispa throws a solid leg kick but Jones takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ispa.

Ispa lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Ispa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ispa off to one side.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ispa.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Ispa saw that one coming.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jones replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Ispa blocks it well.
Ispa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ispa takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ispa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A nice combination there by Ispa.
Ispa lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ispa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ispa. That one must have hurt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Ispa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ispa forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tank Ispa will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Jones works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Ispa on that attempt.

Ispa takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jones walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ispa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jones swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ispa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Jones!
After the fight, Jeremy Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
