Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie White (ranked 1025 p4p, 2282 weight class) and Blue Cup (ranked 146 p4p, 319 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Battlesick. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronnie White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blue Cup!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cup walks into a straight right hand from White.

It looks like Blue Cup has been cut.
Nice shot by White.
White looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
White throws a hook but Cup avoids it easily.
White gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cup jabs White to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Cup catches White napping and connects with a big right hand that sends White to the canvas!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cup is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cup drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cup jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
White trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Cup told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cup stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cup defends well.
Cup pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cup is pushing down on White's leg trying to pass to half guard. White is fighting to maintain full guard but Cup has managed to sneak the leg through.
White tries to get to full guard but Cup has control of the leg.
Cup trying to control from half guard but White is working away.
Cup is taking a breather. White says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
White is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.

Cup seems to be looking for submissions.

Cup is sneakily working for an arm triangle but White sees it coming and defends easily.
White is looking for a sweep. Cup is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

White looking for submissions off his back.
Cup landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Cup throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

White actively working from the bottom here.
White tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

White looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
White scores with a few weak punches.
Cup has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cup trying to control but he's not successful this time.

White flails away from the bottom, looking to strike but he's give an arm to his opponent... uh oh. Cup wraps up the arm in an instant and pivots for an armbar! Tap or snap time - White decides to tap! Lovely submission by Cup!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Blue Cup!
During a confident post fight interview, Blue Cup thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
