Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shigatsu Miyamoto!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.

Miyamoto tried to score with a low kick but Walker checks it.
Miyamoto tries to land a front kick but Walker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Walker misses with a head kick.
A clash of legs there as Walker blocks the low kick.
Miyamoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Miyamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Miyamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Miyamoto looks to move away, Walker throws a big counter combo but Miyamoto just gets out of the way.
Miyamoto throws a lazy body kick
and Walker counters with a left and a right that stings Miyamoto.
Miyamoto throws out a leg kick but Walker moves out of range and Miyamoto only half commits.
Walker gets caught flat footed, as Miyamoto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Miyamoto wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miyamoto is still trying to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Miyamoto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Miyamoto won't allow Walker to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miyamoto drives through and clinches with Walker against the cage.
Walker breaks from the clinch.
Miyamoto darts in looking for a takedown but Walker gets double underhooks and turns Miyamoto into the cage.
Ron Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shigatsu Miyamoto.
Miyamoto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Miyamoto has just dragged him back down to the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Walker can't do much from the bottom here.

Miyamoto has hold of Walker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Walker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Miyamoto cranks the arm and Walker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Walker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Shigatsu Miyamoto!
