Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

Hammer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Edwards defends it nicely.
Edwards seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hammer throws a solid leg kick but Edwards takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hammer.
Edwards shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hammer as he jumps to the side.
Hammer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Edwards stuffs the takedown attempt from Hammer. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Edwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Edwards manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hammer on his heels. He'll look to pass Hammer's guard now, I'm sure.

Hammer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Edwards has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hammer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Edwards is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hammer pulls down on the head and he's put Edwards to sleep! This one is all over!
