Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joseph DeAngelo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wilmerr Fudd! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

DeAngelo looks to land a left hand but Fudd moved out of range nicely. DeAngelo throws a hook to the side of Fudd's head but Fudd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. DeAngelo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fudd counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fudd looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks DeAngelo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fudd prevents DeAngelo from standing back up.
DeAngelo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fudd. DeAngelo is looking for a sweep. Fudd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. DeAngelo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fudd scores with a couple of nice shots. DeAngelo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fudd lands strikes from half guard. Fudd takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Fudd trying to mount his opponent but DeAngelo defends it. Fudd scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fudd connects with a nice short shot to DeAngelo's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fudd not landing any meaningful shots this time. Oh DeAngelo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fudd scoring with strikes to the body and head. Fudd lands a big elbow - DeAngelo is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Fudd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilmerr Fudd! Wilmerr Fudd is the new welterweight champion! A very excited looking Wilmerr Fudd rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
