Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Riverson (ranked 2168 p4p, 24631 weight class) and Alice Wonderland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riverson comes to the cage accompanied by J.Ralph - Kansas City Shuffle. Riverson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. John Riverson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Wonderland shoots for a double leg takedown but Riverson sprawls well. He's pushed Wonderland's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wonderland can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Riverson shoots in but no luck this time.
Wonderland replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Riverson blocks it well.
Riverson shoots in for a double leg but Wonderland sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Riverson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Riverson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wonderland doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Riverson is tightening it up a little... Wonderland has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wonderland reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wonderland taps out! Nice BJJ there by Riverson!
