Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genki Kumo (ranked 6540 p4p, 3998 weight class) and Clinton Riberno (ranked 630 p4p, 487 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Genki Kumo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Clinton Riberno!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riberno throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kumo on the side of the head.
Riberno jabs Kumo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Riberno connects with a single shot there.
Kumo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Riberno throws out the jab.
Kumo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Riberno throws a jab but it's blocked by Kumo.
Kumo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Riberno scores with a nice strike.
Nice defenses there by Kumo.
Kumo fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Riberno might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Kumo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kumo moves out of range as Riberno strikes.
A big left from Riberno misses.
A left lands for Riberno.
Kumo is rocked!
Riberno measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Kumo! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
