Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dariusz Kafarek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Piotr Skowronek!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kafarek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Skowronek throws out a counter right but Kafarek avoids it with no problem.
Skowronek leaves Kafarek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Skowronek looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kafarek fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Skowronek to the ground. Kafarek is now in Skowronek's guard.
Skowronek uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kafarek throws a head kick that misses
and Skowronek counters with a straight right hand.
Dariusz Kafarek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kafarek is breathing heavily.
Kafarek shoots in but Skowronek avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kafarek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skowronek as he jumps to the side.
Skowronek looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dariusz Kafarek. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Skowronek connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Dariusz Kafarek has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skowronek dives in and scores a takedown into Kafarek's guard.

Skowronek arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kafarek's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Piotr Skowronek was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
