Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Orla Wanker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Roffen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

Roffen doesn't manage to clinch there - Wanker circles away.
Wanker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Wanker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wanker.

It looks like Josh Roffen has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Roffen. Wanker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wanker blocks a jab.
Wanker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A punch combination from Wanker misses.
Roffen walks into a stiff left hand from Wanker.
Roffen throws a right and a left that Wanker avoids nicely.
Wanker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Roffen just misses with a punch to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Roffen enables Wanker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roffen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wanker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wanker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Roffen is trying to get back to his feet.

Wanker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Roffen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wanker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wanker is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Roffen pushes Wanker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wanker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The referee asks Wanker politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wanker prefers to stall for the moment though.
Roffen bucks up and tries to throw Wanker off but instead Wanker has got his back!

Wanker patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Roffen is trying to get back to his feet but Wanker has full control of the position and if anything, Roffen has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wanker working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Roffen is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Wanker has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Roffen taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Orla Wanker!
