Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Ragnarsson (ranked 1537 p4p, 713 weight class) and Kai Raymaker (ranked 174 p4p, 86 weight class). Raymaker has chosen Key Glock - Mr.Glock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bjorn Ragnarsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson throws an off balance right hand
and Raymaker counters with an inside leg kick.
Raymaker lunges at Ragnarsson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ragnarsson's hand.

It looks like Bjorn Ragnarsson has been cut.
Ragnarsson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Raymaker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Raymaker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've been told by Ragnarsson's head coaches at Advanced Fitness Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Raymaker, as that shot connected.
Ragnarsson throws a looping overhand right but Raymaker ducks down to avoid it.
It seemed like Raymaker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ragnarsson throws a jab but it's blocked by Raymaker.
Raymaker throws a big counter head kick but Ragnarsson avoids it with no problem.
Raymaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Raymaker lands a jab to Ragnarsson's midsection.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ragnarsson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Raymaker is out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raymaker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ragnarsson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Jeez, Bjorn Ragnarsson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
