Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amin Farrokhi (ranked 1520 p4p, 2086 weight class) and Marcelo DeAngelis (ranked 170 p4p, 232 weight class). Farrokhi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Canggung. Amin Farrokhi could well score a knockout today. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo DeAngelis!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrokhi lands with a shot to the body.
Farrokhi connects with a good right hand that stumbles DeAngelis. DeAngelis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Marcelo DeAngelis has been cut.
Farrokhi throws out a loose jab but DeAngelis uses good head movement to avoid it.
DeAngelis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Farrokhi is out of range.
Farrokhi is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
DeAngelis staying out of range there.
Farrokhi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by DeAngelis.
DeAngelis misses with a body kick.
Farrokhi misses with a body shot
and DeAngelis counters with a three punch combo that has Farrokhi backing up. Farrokhi nods at DeAngelis to acknowledge the strikes.
Farrokhi lands an overhand right.
DeAngelis tried to score with a low kick but Farrokhi checks it.
Farrokhi throws a hook to the side of DeAngelis's head but DeAngelis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Farrokhi misses with a lunging right hand
and DeAngelis makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Farrokhi throws a looping overhand right but DeAngelis ducks down to avoid it.
DeAngelis appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Farrokhi looks to score with a jab to the body but DeAngelis is just out of range.
Farrokhi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before DeAngelis has time to react.
Farrokhi's jab looks to have found its range, popping DeAngelis under the eye.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farrokhi throws an off balance right hand
and DeAngelis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Farrokhi's knee momentarily.
Farrokhi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeAngelis sprawling to the canvas! DeAngelis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Farrokhi finish him?!
DeAngelis is rocked!
That has opened up Marcelo DeAngelis's cut even more.
Farrokhi lands a jab to DeAngelis's midsection.
DeAngelis is still on wobbly legs! Can Farrokhi finish him?
DeAngelis tries to get into range but Farrokhi steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops DeAngelis! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Farrokhi scores the big KO victory!
