Kruger looking to score a takedown here. Targa is defending well but Kruger drives through and ends up in Targa's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Targa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kruger is controlling him.
Targa has his hands on Kruger 's head, controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Kruger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kruger misses with a head shot. Targa uses the momentum to regain guard.

Targa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Targa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Kruger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Targa haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
