Cotto sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Caesar clips Cotto with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Cotto a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Cotto has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Caesar.
Cotto is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Caesar doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Cotto crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Cotto's bad books for that mishap!

Jules Caesar seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Miguel Cotto spoke after the fight, saying 'This is the last fight in my career. I tired... i'm retiring.'.
