Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Escalante (ranked 554 p4p, 834 weight class) and Cayden Abner (ranked 77 p4p, 116 weight class). Abner has chosen Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Vicente Escalante has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vicente Escalante seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cayden Abner!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Escalante is predictable there
and Abner counters with a nice leg kick.
Abner throws a nice inside leg kick.
Escalante throws a series of punches but Abner avoids them all with ease.
Escalante connects with a nice looking jab.
Escalante is looking to score with low kicks.
Abner was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Escalante misses with a leg kick
and Abner counters with a stiff right hand.
Abner slips under a jab.
Escalante throws a big shot that misses.
Escalante looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Escalante backing away here, and Abner unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Escalante digs a good body shot into Abner's ribs.
Abner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Escalante.
Abner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Abner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Escalante checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Escalante throws a push kick but Abner slaps the foot to one side.

Abner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Abner moves forwards but Escalante connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A thudding body kick lands there by Escalante!
Abner avoids the body shot from Escalante.
Escalante fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abner manages to avoid it.
Abner raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Escalante lunges at Abner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Abner's hand.

Escalante feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Abner sprawling to the canvas! Abner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Escalante finish him?!

Abner is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Escalante fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Abner out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Vicente Escalante!

Vicente Escalante gave a mention to Brooklyn Apothecary in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Cayden Abner spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that was fun, but the result was all wrong and kinda sucked. Let's do it again!'.
