Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Crunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hillbilly george (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). george has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. hillbilly george is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Captain Crunch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, hillbilly george! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as george blocks the low kick. Captain Crunch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. george avoids a punch combination nicely.
george uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crunch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from george. george scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. george is pressing down on Crunch's thigh, looking to free his foot. Crunch is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. george looks gassed! Crunch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crunch wants to control but george passes into side.
Crunch wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Crunch regains half guard. Crunch wants to control but george is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crunch is concentrating on defense, preventing george from advancing position. Crunch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. george blocks the strikes from Crunch.
Crunch wants to get back to his feet.
Crunch wants to control but george is keeping busy and won't allow it. Crunch could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Crunch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Crunch tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Crunch will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Crunch moves into the clinch. george is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Crunch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crunch throws an overhand right that has george reeling! Crunch follows up with more punches and george is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Captain Crunch!
