Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krammer Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rambo Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rambo Mercury will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussein stuffs the takedown. Hussein scores with a takedown into Mercury's guard. Hussein trying to control the position from guard on top but Mercury is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mercury wants to get back to his feet but Hussein is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Mercury tries to strike from the bottom.

Hussein chips away with some ground and pound. Hussein passes Mercury's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hussein tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Mercury on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mercury makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mercury. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mercury lands a good elbow from the bottom. Hussein wants to control from the top but Mercury keeps moving. Mercury tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hussein throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mercury works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mercury is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hussein preventing the sweep. Hussein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mercury closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hussein to the mat! Hussein manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hussein looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mercury is one step ahead there. Hussein lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mercury! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mercury is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hussein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mercury regains half guard. Mercury trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Mercury is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussein working the ground and pound effectively.

Hussein looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Mercury takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hussein takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mercury is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hussein goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mercury is on top in guard.
Hussein is breathing heavily. Mercury is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hussein working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mercury. Mercury scoring with some ground and pound. Hussein has his foot on Mercury's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mercury works his way back into a safe position though. Mercury postures up in Hussein's guard and throws a big left but Hussein blocks it. Mercury thows a big elbow that misses. Hussein is trying to control the position but Mercury postures up. Hussein avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hussein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Krammer Hussein will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hussein stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mercury. Mercury gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hussein fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hussein tries to work over Mercury's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hussein tries for a takedown but Mercury manages to get underhooks.
Mercury lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hussein backwards. Mercury prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krammer Hussein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mercury creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hussein's defenses. Hussein tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mercury smiles and moves away.
Mercury looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hussein! Mercury looking to control but Hussein is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mercury is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hussein can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mercury is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Mercury lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hussein hang on?

Mercury breaks from Hussein's wrist control and lands an elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Mercury landing strikes from the mount and Hussein is in trouble! Hussein tries to reverse the position but Mercury maintains control. Mercury looking to secure an arm triangle but Hussein defends it well. Mercury punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Hussein that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mercury is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hussein is rocked! Mercury with a couple of short strikes. Oh Hussein is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mercury raining down shots from the mount! Mercury landing punches. Mercury unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Hussein wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Mercury celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rambo Mercury! Rambo Mercury is the new heavyweight champion!
