Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Finch (ranked 5444 p4p, 24322 weight class) and Bud Young (ranked 606 p4p, 661 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Finch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bud Young!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young swinging wildly here.
Young wants to clinch.
Young lands a jab to the nose.
Young tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Finch paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Finch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Young wants to clinch up but Finch keeps it at a distance.
Bud Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Young jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Young ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Finch misses with a head kick.
Finch scores with a jab. Young acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Young tries to close the distance and clinch up but Finch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Finch attempts a counter takedown but Young avoids it well and moves away.

Finch throws a head kick that misses.
Young connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Finch momentarily.
Young looks to land a right hand but Finch moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Finch on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Young uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Finch.
Young scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Bud Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Young tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Finch is able to avoid easily.
Young looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Young motions for Finch to come forward. Young throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Finch lands with an overhand left.
Finch is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Young's half guard.

Finch frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Young tries to hold on but Finch pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finch is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Young can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Finch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Finch is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Young to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Young shrugs it off.

Young sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Finch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Young can do to turn this around?

Finch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chris Finch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Finch in particular looking to stall.

Finch throws a hook to the side of Young's head but Young sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Finch throws a body shot but no joy.
Young throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Finch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Young napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Young wants to get back to his feet.
Young really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Finch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Young's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Finch cracks Young with a big elbow.
Finch has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Young is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Finch yanks on the arm and Young is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Finch.
