Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rammsie Hartmann!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartmann lands a slapping body shot.
Hartmann's coach down at UnderGround BJJ & MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hartmann's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Hartmann scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Volkov doesn't seem bothered though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Volkov is defended easily by Hartmann.
Hartmann throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Hartmann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice sprawl there from Hartmann as Volkov shoots in.

and Hartmann counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sergei Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Volkov with that takedown attempt.

Hartmann instigates a clinch.
Hartmann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Hartmann cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hartmann gets caught napping as Volkov dives in and scores a takedown. Hartmann manages to retain guard.
Hartmann lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hartmann is working Volkov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Volkov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hartmann's head.

Volkov scores with a big shot! Hartmann's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Hartmann! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Sergei Volkov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
