Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dirk Stuckey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Banak Brawnanvil!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuckey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brawnanvil shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A jab lands there for Stuckey.
Stuckey digs a good hook to Brawnanvil's body.
Stuckey sizes up Brawnanvil with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Brawnanvil drives through and clinches with Stuckey against the cage.
Brawnanvil with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Stuckey wants to break free but Brawnanvil has control.
Stuckey can't break the clinch.
Brawnanvil has Stuckey pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stuckey manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brawnanvil has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dirk Stuckey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Banak Brawnanvil.
Brawnanvil keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stuckey's efforts to push away.

Stuckey lands a nice hook to Brawnanvil's body. Brawnanvil takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stuckey scores with a sloppy right hand. Brawnanvil should have avoided that one.
Dirk Stuckey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brawnanvil looks to clinch
and Brawnanvil takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stuckey scores with a jab. Brawnanvil acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Stuckey lands the left hand.
Stuckey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stuckey lands with a right hand.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stuckey cracks a nice hook into Brawnanvil's ribs.
Brawnanvil swings for the body but Stuckey moves out of range.
Brawnanvil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brawnanvil looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Brawnanvil misses with a body punch
and Stuckey counters with a stiff right hand.
Stuckey catches Brawnanvil with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stuckey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brawnanvil's head backwards.
We've been told by Stuckey's head coaches at Pandemic Fight System that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Banak Brawnanvil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stuckey connects with a right hand. Brawnanvil shakes it off.
Brawnanvil tries to move into range but Stuckey moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brawnanvil clinches up against the cage.
Brawnanvil tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Brawnanvil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Stuckey finds it's way through Brawnanvil's defenses.
Brawnanvil shoots in looking for a takedown. Stuckey tries to sprawl out of it but Brawnanvil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stuckey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brawnanvil has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stuckey finds it's way round the side to connect with Brawnanvil's head.
No luck for Brawnanvil with that takedown attempt.
Brawnanvil walks into a stiff left hand from Stuckey.
Brawnanvil misses with a takedown
and Stuckey counters with a stiff right hand.
Stuckey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stuckey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brawnanvil on the side of the head.
Brawnanvil is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stuckey avoids the body shot from Brawnanvil.
Brawnanvil takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stuckey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stuckey scores with a jab. Brawnanvil acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Brawnanvil is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stuckey cracks Brawnanvil with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brawnanvil tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Stuckey pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brawnanvil is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Stuckey!
