Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chief Claw (ranked 2090 p4p, 1277 weight class) and Wacco Longbardo (ranked 294 p4p, 174 weight class). Wacco Longbardo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longbardo tries a head kick but it misses.
Claw lands a really nice looking cross but Longbardo seems unphased.

It looks like Wacco Longbardo has been cut.
Longbardo cracks Claw with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Claw closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
