Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranji Katoor (ranked 2122 p4p, 751 weight class) and Tom Breedon (ranked 279 p4p, 102 weight class). Breedon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Quiet Riot - Come On Feel The Noise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katoor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Breedon thuds a left hand into Katoor's body.
Katoor pushes Breedon up against the cage in a clinch.
Breedon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Katoor after a bit of a struggle.
Katoor works on Breedon's body with a couple of short punches.

Katoor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Breedon's efforts to push away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Breedon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Katoor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Katoor circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Breedon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Katoor follows Breedon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ranji Katoor!
