Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amemir Vida (ranked 3667 p4p, 4415 weight class) and Minato Tokugawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vida has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

Vida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tokugawa sprawls well. Tokugawa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vida gets slowly back to his feet.
Vida could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tokugawa dives in for a single leg takedown but Vida sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Minato Tokugawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Vida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tokugawa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tokugawa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vida is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Amemir Vida.
Well Tokugawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
