Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Biden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks lands a jab to the head.
Brooks staying out of range there.
Biden takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Biden on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Brooks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brooks punishes Biden's body with a nice straight punch.
Brooks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Biden misses with a takedown attempt - Brooks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Biden shoots for a takedown but Brooks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brooks misses with a looping left.
Biden shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brooks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brooks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Biden wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Brooks is trying to control Biden's posture but Biden avoids it.
Brooks gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brooks wants to control but Biden is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brooks can do anything to dispel that myth.
Brooks is looking for a sweep. Biden is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Biden is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brooks has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Biden is working away from the top position though.
Brooks controlling the position well.
Biden looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Biden is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brooks!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brooks tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Biden looking for a guillotine from mount but Brooks is having none of it.
Biden looking to isolate an arm here. Brooks doesn't see it coming and as Biden extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Biden!
