Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 245 p4p, 217 weight class) and Franck Kodjia (ranked 10 p4p, 9 weight class). Genghis Khan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Franck Kodjia's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genghis Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franck Kodjia! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kodjia takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nice cross by Kodjia.
It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut. A big right from Kodjia misses. Khan is looking to counter punch. Kodjia on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kodjia misses with a left hand and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Franck Kodjia has been cut. Kodjia moves into the clinch. Khan throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Khan lands an elbow inside. Kodjia lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Khan throws a punch but it's blocked by Kodjia. Khan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Khan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kodjia throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Khans head. Kodjia works on Khan's body with a couple of short punches. Khan lands a body shot in the clinch.
Kodjia using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Khan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Khan lands on the inside with an uppercut. Khan lands a body punch in the clinch. Kodjia looks winded! Khan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Khan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Khan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Khan lands a body shot in the clinch.
Khan lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan scores with an uppercut up the middle. Khan lands an elbow that stopped Kodjia in his tracks for a moment. Khan dips a shoulder and cracks Kodjia with a mighty uppercut! Kodjia falls back against the cage and Khan unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kodjia is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Khan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Genghis Khan! Genghis Khan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
