Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexanderovski Volkan!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Volkan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reyes gets tackled into the cage by Volkan. Volkan maintains the clinch.
Volkan lands a shot to the body.
A right hand to the body from Volkan.
A right handed body shot lands from Volkan.
Volkan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Volkan closes the distance and clinches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes is working for takedown but Volkan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Volkan lands with a right to the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Reyes tries to throw a body punch but Volkan avoids it by throwing Reyes back against the cage.

We've been hearing reports that Reyes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Volkan with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Reyes tries to score a body lock takedown but Volkan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Volkan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Volkan moves out of range of the body kick.
Volkan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Reyes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Reyes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Reyes ducks right into an uppercut from Volkan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Volkan lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Reyes falls backwards - clearly groggy! Volkan dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
