Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Teshima Shigochiyo (ranked 2768 p4p, 3851 weight class) and Darren Dos Santos (ranked 139 p4p, 341 weight class). Shigochiyo comes to the cage accompanied by Yoshida Brothers - Rising. Dos Santos has chosen Right Above It as his entrance music. Teshima Shigochiyo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teshima Shigochiyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shigochiyo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shigochiyo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dos Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shigochiyo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dos Santos swivels and escapes.
A nice side step and Dos Santos releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dos Santos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shigochiyo to the mat! Shigochiyo manages to get full guard.
Dos Santos has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shigochiyo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dos Santos is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shigochiyo pulls down on the head and he's put Dos Santos to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Teshima Shigochiyo!
An out of breath Teshima Shigochiyo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
