Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Llosa (ranked 1152 p4p, 1225 weight class) and Schwartz Gomez (ranked 163 p4p, 173 weight class). Gomez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by POP SMOKE - GOT IT ON ME. Schwartz Gomez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Llosa.

It looks like Ernesto Llosa has been cut.
We've been informed that Gomez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gomez throws a body punch but Llosa moves out of range.
Gomez ducks under a wild hook from Llosa.
Gomez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gomez looks to land a left hand but Llosa moved out of range nicely.

Gomez rushes Llosa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Llosa throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gomezs head.
Llosa tries to pull guard but Gomez won't allow it.
Llosa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gomez manages to break the clinch.
Llosa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomez was well out of range. Poor timing from Llosa.
Gomez misses with a low kick.
Llosa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Gomez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Llosa checks a low kick from Gomez.

Gomez lands a left and a right that send Llosa crashing to the mat, dazed. Gomez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Llosa is rocked!
Schwartz Gomez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Llosa misses with a hook. Gomez ducked under it nicely.
Llosa is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Gomez's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Gomez throws an overhand right that drops Llosa like a sack of potatoes! Gomez dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
