Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Line (ranked 1394 p4p, 1781 weight class) and Rick Dick (ranked 200 p4p, 253 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Line might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Dick!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line throws a good cross that connects.
Dick is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dick jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dick misses with an uppercut. Line saw that one coming.

Dick shoots in and drives through. Line sprawls well.

Dick shoots in looking for a takedown. Line tries to sprawl out of it but Dick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Line manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Dick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Line takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Line lunges at Dick with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dick's hand.
Sloppy strikes from Line. Those never looked like landing.
Line tries a head kick but it misses.
Dick gets a double leg takedown into Line's guard.
Line escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dick has his foot on Line's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Line works his way back into a safe position though.

Rick Dick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dick has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
