Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cole Orion (ranked 1329 p4p, 2236 weight class) and Heppu Hullu (ranked 173 p4p, 292 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heppu Hullu!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orion misses with a low kick.
Orion seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Orion keeps Hullu at a distance using the push kick.
Orion connects with an inside leg kick.
Hullu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Orion lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Orion lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hullu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Orion circles away.
Hullu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hullu shoots in for a double leg but Orion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cole Orion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Orion lands a nice hook to Hullu's body. Hullu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hullu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hullu is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Hullu feints and as Orion raises his hands in defense, Hullu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Orion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hullu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orion escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hullu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hullu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hullu has managed to get both his arms back between Orion's legs - danger averted.
Hullu pushes down on Orion's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hullu shoots in but no luck this time.
Cole Orion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heppu Hullu.

Hullu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Orion pinned against the cage. Orion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hullu takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hullu tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hullu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Orion to the ground. Hullu is now in Orion's guard.
Orion is looking for a triangle but Hullu pushes his legs off easily.

Orion trying to keep a closed guard but Hullu is proving a slippery customer.
Hullu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Orion keeping moving, preventing Hullu from controlling successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hullu is fighting to break Orion's control of his arms but Orion is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hullu content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Orion has locked up a guillotine! Orion's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hullu is holding on here and Orion must be using up a lot of energy. Hullu has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Orion gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
