Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Line (ranked 501 p4p, 547 weight class) and Uesugi Mochinori (ranked 72 p4p, 82 weight class). Line kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!. Mochinori is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Japanese Battle Music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

I was talking to Line's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Line has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mochinori can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Line manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mochinori manages to get himself to full guard.

Line is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mochinori is just riding it out for now. Line eventually gives up the hold.
