Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Takamura Mamoru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Rad!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mamoru counters with a nice uppercut.
Rad is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Mamoru. That's going to slow Rad down.
Rad is still on wobbly legs! Can Mamoru finish him?
Mamoru dives in and scores a takedown into Rad's guard.
Mamoru gets to his feet - Rad follows without any prompting.
Rad misses with a hook
and Mamoru counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mamoru rushes Rad and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mamoru stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Mamoru works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mamoru stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mamoru rushes Rad and presses him up against the cage.
Rad wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mamoru has him pressed against the cage.

Mamoru turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mamoru manages to end up in side control.
Mamoru stands up.
Mamoru fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rad, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mamoru is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Mamoru turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Mamoru decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rad to his feet.
Rad looks winded!
Mamoru shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mamoru postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rad to stand up.
Rad throws a sloppy head kick
and Mamoru counters with a crisp right that sends Rad to the canvas! Mamoru follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takamura Mamoru!
Takamura Mamoru decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Kyle Rad was interviewed post fight and said 'Just a bad day bitch. next time i will fuck you up good.'.
