The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Warrior. Picard does a little dance to reset his feet.
Warrior lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Warrior uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Picard.
Picard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Picard throws a jab but it's blocked by Warrior.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Warrior is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Picard wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Warrior wants to control from the top but Picard keeps moving.

Warrior motions for Picard to come forward. Warrior throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Picard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warrior paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Jean Luc Picard will probably get the nod.

Picard fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Warrior to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Warrior looks to clinch but Picard throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Warrior taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
