Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Amodei (ranked 1512 p4p, 968 weight class) and Murzol Gro Ulfimph (ranked 83 p4p, 57 weight class). Gro Ulfimph has chosen Hired Gun as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amodei takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Amodei misses with a hook. Gro Ulfimph ducked under it nicely.
Giuseppe Amodei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Amodei jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gro Ulfimph lands with a shot to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gro Ulfimph looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gro Ulfimph takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Gro Ulfimph tries to pull guard but Amodei won't allow it.
Amodei swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Giuseppe Amodei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murzol Gro Ulfimph.

Amodei has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gro Ulfimph regains guard immediately.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Amodei tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gro Ulfimph wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gro Ulfimph has an Americana. Amodei didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gro Ulfimph is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gro Ulfimph hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
