The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean looks to land a left hand but Lucan moved out of range nicely.
Lucan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dean cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Edwin Lucan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lucan.
Nice defenses there by Lucan.
Lucan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dean counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lucan throws a jab but it's blocked by Dean.
Lucan misses with a takedown
enabling Dean to counter with a crisp jab.
Lucan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lucan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dean scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lucan doesn't seem bothered though.
Lucan swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dean counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A head kick by Lucan misses
and Dean counters with a crisp right that sends Lucan to the canvas! Dean follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
