Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osama Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrel Prescott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osama Ninja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darrel Prescott!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prescott lands with a hook. Ninja tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ninja fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Prescott checks it well.
Ninja tries for a takedown but Prescott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ninja throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Prescott.
Prescott misses with a wild combination.
Ninja tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Prescott swivels and escapes.
Horrible takedown by Ninja or perhaps it was just good defense by Prescott which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Osama Ninja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ninja tries to clinch up but Prescott circles away and keeps his distance.

Prescott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Prescott stalks Ninja and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ninja's face. Ninja staggers backwards, shaken.

and Ninja decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Prescott's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prescott wants to stand up but Ninja is controlling him.

Prescott is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Prescott wants to get back to his feet but Ninja is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ninja postures up in Prescott's guard and throws a big left but Prescott blocks it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prescott can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
