Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archibald Knox (ranked 122 p4p, 135 weight class) and Luc Gagnon (ranked 19 p4p, 20 weight class). Gagnon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Body Head Anthem - Roy Jones Jr Feat. Magic & Choppa). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archibald Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luc Gagnon! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gagnon drops his hands momentarily and Knox takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Luc Gagnon has been cut. Gagnon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Knox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gagnon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Knox looks to throw the jab but Gagnon is out of range. Knox throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gagnon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Knox lands a nice looking body shot.

Knox smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Knox tries a head kick but it misses.
Gagnon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters circling - Gagnon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Knox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knox lands a really nice looking cross but Gagnon seems unphased.
That has opened up Luc Gagnon's cut even more. Knox lunges at Gagnon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gagnon's hand. A punch lands to the side of Gagnon 's head but he takes it in his stride. Gagnon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Knox takes one to the chin there. Gagnon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Knox. Gagnon throws out a loose jab but Knox uses good head movement to avoid it. Gagnon connects with a body shot that sends Knox's belly button to the back. A lazy body kick from Knox and Gagnon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gagnon throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Gagnon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Knox fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gagnon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A good leg kick by Gagnon. Knox dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Gagnon misses. Knox half committed to a counter leg kick. Knox throws a big shot that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Gagnon.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gagnon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Knox has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Knox and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Gagnon has knocked Knox down with a huge combo! Gagnon steps away and waves a wobbly Knox back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Archibald Knox has been cut. Gagnon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gagnon ducks under a wild hook from Knox. Gagnon cracks Knox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gagnon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knox. A swing and a miss from Gagnon. Gagnon lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knox on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Gagnon.
Knox is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Knox scores with a kick to the midsection. Knox throws the left hand but Gagnon avoids the punch easily. Knox throws a shot to the body.
Gagnon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knox manages to avoid it. Knox throws a body punch but Gagnon moves out of range. Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Knox throws a head kick that half lands.
Knox checks a low kick from Gagnon. It looks like Knox has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Knox fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Archibald Knox will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Knox tries a low kick but Gagnon avoids it. Gagnon looks like he wants to counter punch here. Gagnon shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Knox was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Knox misses with a body kick. And Gagnon responds with a good body kick, but Knox manages to step out the way in time. Knox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gagnon swings away with a leg kick that misses. Knox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Knox throws a head kick that misses and Gagnon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Knox. Knox was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Knox avoids the body shot from Gagnon.
Knox tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gagnon manages to circle out of the way. Gagnon misses with a series of wild punches.

Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but Gagnon is just out of range. Gagnon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Knox is out of range. Knox looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gagnon throws a head kick but Knox moves out of range.
Gagnon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knox finds it's way round the side to connect with Gagnon's head. Gagnon throws a lazy right hand but Knox sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gagnon slips under a jab from Knox.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gagnon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gagnon tries to land a body kick and Knox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The cut above Luc Gagnon's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Whack! Knox lands a heavy head kick that drops Gagnon. The ref tackles Knox to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gagnon was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Archibald Knox! Archibald Knox made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Switched it up , my manager is class. Camara is 2nd string - we are Convicted. Good night.'.
