The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Poodle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ganymede throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ganymede avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ganymede bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ganymede is looking to take a break and control but The Poodle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ganymede wants to stand but The Poodle has his arm trapped.
Ganymede tries to get to his feet but The Poodle is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Ganymede in his guard.
The Poodle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ganymede wants to control from the top but The Poodle keeps moving.
Ganymede must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The Poodle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ganymede trying to control but The Poodle is working from the bottom.
The Poodle tries to land a sweep but no joy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ganymede closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Poodle circles away.
The Poodle misses with a few strikes there.
Ganymede shoots for a takedown but The Poodle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tommy The Poodle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Poodle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ganymede in his tracks.

It looks like Zeus Ganymede has been cut.
The Poodle scores with a one two! Ganymede had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ganymede looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from The Poodle does no damage.
The Poodle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Poodle drops Ganymede with a left right combo! The Poodle follows him down to the ground into side control.

That has opened up Zeus Ganymede's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ganymede is trying to escape the position but The Poodle is controlling the position.

The Poodle stands up.
The Poodle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

The cut above Zeus Ganymede's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The Poodle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Zeus Ganymede's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A big head kick from The Poodle and Ganymede is sent sprawling to the canvas!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zeus Ganymede's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
