Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Minato Ichika (ranked 3957 p4p, 5350 weight class) and Jamal Lloyd (ranked 368 p4p, 432 weight class). Lloyd has chosen Woke up this Morning- Alabama 3 as his entrance music. Minato Ichika has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Ichika!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Lloyd!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ichika shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lloyd swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ichika will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lloyd! But no joy.
Ichika closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lloyd's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Minato Ichika.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ichika, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
