Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Davis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ballestaros misses with a left hand
and Davis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ballestaros doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ballestaros scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Davis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ballestaros jabs Davis right on the nose. Davis blinks but takes it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ballestaros cracks a nice hook into Davis's ribs.
Ballestaros tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from Ballestaros.
Ballestaros cracks Davis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ballestaros keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ballestaros looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ballestaros cracks Davis with a right hand to the side of the head.
Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Ballestaros sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ballestaros throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis dives in for a single leg takedown but Ballestaros sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ballestaros cracks Davis with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Davis looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ballestaros finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis tries to clinch up but Ballestaros circles away and keeps his distance.

Ballestaros closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Davis out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
