Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rock Pounder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Drago! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pounder circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pounder paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pounder moves in looking to clinch but Drago pushes him off. No joy there for Drago, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pounder tries to clinch up. Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago thows a body shot but no joy. Pounder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pounder not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pounder decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. No luck for Pounder with that takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Pounder or perhaps it was just good defense by Drago which made him look bad. Pounder throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pounder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pounder seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Drago does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Drago looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pounder wants to stand but Drago has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Drago is staying active underneath Pounder, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Still in half guard, Pounder seems content to control. Drago looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pounder stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Drago to get to his feet. Drago throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pounder looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Drago is fending him off so far but Pounder persists. Nope, Drago circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Pounder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pounder tries to clinch up. Drago tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pounder counters with a takedown into side control. Pounder is looking to take a break and control but Drago is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pounder controlling the position. Pounder moves into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pounder with the ground and pound from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pounder is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Drago is surviving well by controlling Pounder's body position as best he can. Pounder content just to control the position here. Pounder looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago just holding on. Pounder looking to control and managing it successfully. Pounder seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Drago for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rock Pounder dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pounder shoots in and drives through. Drago sprawls well. Pounder lands a body shot.
Pounder shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Drago's guard. Drago preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pounder connects with a couple of short punches. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pounder here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Pounder gets to his feet. Drago looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Drago tries to bum rush Pounder with a series of wild strikes but Pounder uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pounder bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drago is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pounder has just dragged him back down to the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pounder lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Drago down.
Pounder prevents Drago from escaping the position. Pounder scoring with punches and elbows. Pounder staying calm. Drago wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pounder works to advance to full mount. Drago defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Pounder punishing his opponent with strikes. Pounder content just to control the position here. Pounder in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pounder's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Pounder looking to secure an arm triangle but Drago defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rock Pounder dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Pounder fails to land the takedown. Pounder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drago swats him away and circles back towards the center. Drago fails in his attempt to clinch. Pounder bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Drago clinches but Pounder breaks the clinch and Pounder counters with a shoot takedown. Drago fights it but they end up in guard. Drago utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drago keeping moving, preventing Pounder from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pounder advances position into side control! Pounder trying to control the action but Drago is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Rock Pounder just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Pounder wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pounder instigates a clinch. Pounder goes for a takedown in the clinch but Drago prevents it.
Pounder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drago avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Pounder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drago is looking to break free of the clinch but Pounder has double underhooks. Drago has Pounder pressed against the cage.
Pounder has hold of one of Drago's legs. Drago is fighting the takedown attempt but Pounder gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Pounder gets to his feet - Drago follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago tries to clinch up and Pounder counters with a single leg into guard. Drago didn't expect that. Pounder is working Drago over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pounder sitting in guard here, content to control. Pounder won't allow Drago to get back to his feet. Pounder trying to control but Drago is working from the bottom. Pounder gets to his feet. Drago looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pounder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Drago tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pounder counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pounder. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drago keeping full guard, as Pounder tries to pass. Pounder works a leg free and moves into half guard. Drago has one foot on Pounder's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pounder doesn't manage to clinch there - Drago circles away.
Drago misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ivan Drago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rock Pounder is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pounder connects with a high kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Rock Pounder showed his dominance in that final round. Well Pounder has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
