Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butt Scooter (ranked 2676 p4p, 4425 weight class) and Hiroshi Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroshi Ace will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

Scooter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ace fails to land with a series of punches.
As Ace tries to get set, Scooter tries to push him back and clinch up but Ace manages to avoid the attempt.
Ace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scooter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ace connects with a nice looking jab.
Ace connects with a right hand. Scooter shakes it off.
Scooter misses with a double jab
and Ace counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ace jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ace works the jab nicely.
Scooter looks to throw the jab but Ace is out of range.
Scooter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ace sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Scooter moves out of range of the strikes.
Ace tests Scooter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Scooter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Scooter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ace misses with a few strikes there.

Scooter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ace moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ace! But no joy.
Ace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ace throws a series of punches but Scooter moves out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ace!

Scooter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ace on his heels. He'll look to pass Ace's guard now, I'm sure.

Scooter stops Ace from standing up.
Scooter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Scooter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Scooter happy to just control the position for now.
Scooter has hold of Ace's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ace tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Scooter cranks the arm and Ace screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ace, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Butt Scooter!
