Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kill Shot Jackson (ranked 3526 p4p, 6137 weight class) and Kaden Cottrell (ranked 435 p4p, 590 weight class). Kaden Cottrell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kill Shot Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaden Cottrell! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cottrell wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cottrell looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Cottrell is trying to stand.
Cottrell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jackson stalling. Cottrell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson is looking to advance position but Cottrell won't allow it. Cottrell missing with punches from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jackson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cottrell is trying to stand back up but Jackson is controlling him

Cottrell wants to get back to full guard. Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cottrell is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold. Jackson controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cottrell for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jackson works his foot free and advances to mount. Jackson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jackson working for a guillotine from mount but Cottrell is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cottrell tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jackson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cottrell to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cottrell shrugs it off. Jackson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cottrell is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kill Shot Jackson! Kill Shot Jackson gave a mention to UN-KAGED SAVAGE PEDS in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
